Husayn Kassai arrived at Oxford expecting finance to provide the obvious route after university.
Instead, he left with a company.
Onfido began with two fellow students and £20,000 from Oxford’s Seed Fund. Its identity-verification technology tackled a problem becoming increasingly important as more services moved online: how people prove who they are remotely, securely and at scale.
The company became a unicorn before being acquired in 2024.
Kassai could have stopped there. Instead, his attention shifted to another adoption problem.
AI tools are becoming more powerful, but many organisations still treat implementation as something technical teams do to the rest of the business.
Ollo is built around the opposite idea: involve non-technical teams directly in designing and building the agents they will actually use.
