Every day I visit the future, and I bring back stories. What gives me hope is the extraordinary level of talent, vision and determination embodied within the UK’s innovation ecosystem. Right across the country there are exceptional people and pioneering companies grafting phenomenally hard to forge a better, brighter future for everyone.
As an innovation analyst, Lucy has been on a 25-year journey (so far!) helping audiences around the world understand the future that is approaching and, crucially, where the opportunities are going to be.
She is founder of the UKII task force, championing innovation and talent across 30 sectors of future UK industry, and she curates technology/science exhibitions, presents podcasts, makes short films, and is author of multiple non-fiction titles with Thames & Hudson.
